When I am not producing podcasts, I am a volunteer presenter on Bay Trust Radio, one of the largest volunteer radio stations in the country.
Bay Trust Radio has been providing a high quality broadcasting service since 1977 from their studios based at Westmorland General Hospital, Kendal. Since then, they’ve expanded the service to cover more hospitals and the local community. Bay Trust Radio is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation number 1193959 and is completely run by volunteers from across the area.
You can listen online or inside hospital for free. On the radio station you can expect to hear great music and information that’s important to you.
There are many ways to get involved with the charity; you can enjoy the service they provide, join as a volunteer and get involved with the work they do, or you may wish to support them by donating or being a supporter.
